Thanks for running a tight ship once more.
I was suprised at how mad people got. I saw him say it, and it's like the time you're with a bunch of friends and someone tries to say something funny. They say it, and then have to spend an hour and a half explaining it when it turns into an argument that just gets out of control.

You can't close and lock arguments in real life. It's kind of too bad - if only life was really that easy

I didn't want to comment of the other thread, but i would thnk people would realize Harrison was kidding or being sarcastic. They were team mates as recently as last year, and if it wasn't for Brady, Rodney wouldn't be sporting two SB rings. Really, would it make any sense that Rodney was serious? NO

It also occured to me that Harrison had talked to Brady about the comment either before or after he made it..

What is sad is that I "got" it right away that he was joking, yet the other guys on the show thought he was serious! I was thinking "What clowns. How they hell do such idiots get to act like they are "analysts"." If Rodney REALLY wanted brownie points, he would have turned to the other 2 and gave them a funny look "Have you guys ever heard of sarcasm?". Of course, he would get a **** storm from the producers. How dare anyone make a tv personality out to look stupid or wrong.

Update: Well that didn't work out as I had planned. Next year baby, next year 19-0 we go. Next year.

It seemed pretty plain to me that the host knew he was joking.

Rodney has earned the right to say whatever he damn well pleases, as far as I'm concerned.

Here's a video for anyone who missed it:

Obviously disregard the content surrounding the article, video is located at the bottom.

I dont see whats so funny. You have all these analysts, especially the ones on the Football Night in America set, who take every chance to bash the Patriots, and to say that this is about Brady being overprotected. Dungy said that these calls were directly because an overreaction to Brady being hurt last year. Completely ignoring the call on Flacco. Thats when I would expect someone like Rodney to come to our defense and maybe even show some examples from the Bills and Jets games where no calls were made. Instead he makes this joke, when I would have really loved for him to stick it to Dungy and Olberman. I dunno, I just dont like it.
