I actually felt bad for the Raiders. They got screwed on the TD call. That was a TD. Murphy had the ball in control the entire time.. THe only reason it "moved" prior to his hitting the ground was because his arm moved. It was never out of his control. Not to mention that his butt hit before the ball did and that would make him down..

The penalty on AD struck me as more of a function of the official being hesitant to blow the whistle than anything else.
If this rule was regularly enforced, the Patriots would have won Super Bowl XLII.

Could not agree more. If I were cynical, I'd say money changed hands for those two calls to take place.

Even a handful of Bills fans agree, that Wilfork penalty was crap. We'll know that when Vince doesn't get a fine.

But on replay it was obvious he did. He literally spread his arms and landed beside the QB. And listen to yourself, half a second... I don't know WTF else you can do in those situations, and that's the problem.

And people wonder why BB believes sacks are over rated... It's because going for them opens you up to bigger problems.

I am willing to bet that the league considers Wilfork a dirty player ala Rodney Harrison. Once you get that unwarranted rep, it is just hard to shake.

And I am positive the Bills complained about wilfork being a menace BEFORE the game. That is the way it is done anymore. Ask Polian.

I was absolutely livid on the Thomas call!! I don't know how any real fan of pro football couldn't be. Goddell is ruining football with these bulls*it rules. There is no way a ref shouldve made such a horrendous call possibly changing the outcome of the game. And the only reason they have the ammunition to do such things is because goddell has put us in this situation. I don't even blame the zebra's. They don't even know the rule it varies from crew to crew.

The call on Wilfork was a reputation call. Green, Warren or Wright make that play and they're not likely to get flagged. Watch the ref, he hesitated for a few seconds before throwing that flag.
Sometimes before you can get the words out that "hey that's holding or interference", the flag is flying, but not in this case. I agree with the previous poster that when Vince does NOT get fined, you'll know it was bogus...
Did the NFL ever get anybody to replace Pereira to give the company line on BS calls???
