He's not a good forecaster. He's better at reporting what already happened. Even he started laughing at himself when he kept picking against the Pats 2 years ago when they went 16-0 in the reg.

I'm not crazy about Baltimore's WR's or CB's, but they should still be a solid team. Don't think they're better than Pittsburgh or New England, though.

So? New England was better than the Giants 2 years ago. Tenessee was better than Pittsburgh last year, as was Carolina. I think the best team in football wins the superbowl about one out of five years.

That's great. Did you have a point? How do you objectively rate which teams are better than others? Because Tennessee sure as hell wasn't better than Pittsburgh, and neither was Carolina.
I think the Falcons are the darkhorse team,Matt Ryan is the real deal
My choice to win it all would be the Chargers if they can mature enough to finally win it all and avoid the fact that Turner is their HC.
Of course the heart always hopes the Patriots win but I still have doubts about this defense, especially in the new revamped secondary - Brady and the offense will have to score more than 500 points I think for the team to get where they want to be- They don't have to be as good as the 2007 offense but they better be somewhat close.
The Falcons benefited from an easy schedule and an absolute ton of luck last year. I'll be awfully surprised if they can match their 2008 record.
they lost 3 times to the Squeelers last year so until they get past them I think the Steelers are better and since the Steelers haven't had to get past us for their wins I am sticking with my Pats though I might have picked them in 92 so I am a homer.
Anyone watch Bru on NFL live today?
they were breaking down the NFC north and Bru made the same point I just did about winning 3 vs them last year and gave the Steelers the edge for the division.
I thought teddy was great on the show and I love being on the same brainwave as him
At the end they had Darren Woodson and Bru debate who was the better team 90s Cowboys or Pats 2000's Woodson spoke of the big 3 Aikman, Emmit, and Irving and Bru thru it back at him talking about the big 53 saying from QB to Kicker they could all play....good stuff Bru keep it up.

I picked one of our losses to be against the Ravens this year. If I had to pick a team (other than us) to come out of the AFC this year, it would be them. They still have Ngata, Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs, and Ed Reed.
This isn't meant to be personal but GullyFoyle, you are by far the biggest homer I have ever come across. And I don't throw that term around often...

Doesn't matter, and thats my point. The best team in football rarely wins. Even as the top seed, you gotta win 3 games against teams that are a hair's width different than you, and the odds are against you.
If you have a 60% chance of beating a team in the playoffs, you've got a 21% chance of winning the superbowl, with the bye.
