Kind of reminds me of when the Patriots traded for Fred Dryer, or Duane Thomas, wait...

For all we know it could have been sent out already, no?

You're absolutely right, it could have been.

We all know that Seymour is upset. This isn't exactly breaking news. Hell, I knew Seymour was going to be upset the minute I heard of the trade. You don't exactly go from a world class organization to a third world organization and have an ecstatic attitude.

On another note, will everyone here still love the way Rodney speaks his mind if he decides to harp on the Patriots about something one day?

FYI, Harrison is calling into WEEI any minute. You can get WEEI on iTunes free.

- He said he's real excited that TO opened his big mouth about the Patriots. Said Springs will be in his grill and Meri will be shoving his helmet down TO's throat. I like Rodney the commentator.

Great question. I was thinking the exact same thing...

This may sound weird, but it's kinda like when someone calls you an idiot because you did X. If that someone is "out of the circle of trust" or is a complete stranger you either dismiss it or fire back.

Now, if your parents, brother or close friend calls you and idiot, you take pause and ask yourself why they think you are an idiot. It has more credence because they know you and have an appreciation for your background.

Rondney and Bru will call out the Pats or critique them on something. It's inevitable. That is their job. When they do, I will listen and consider them insightful.

However, if they start doing it all the time (see Borges, Collinsworth, BSPN), then I may suspect that they have an agenda or are trying too hard not to show favortism.

My .02%

You mean like pointing out after every loss that the result might have been better with an upgrade at the DE position?

...that was 35 years ago, about 20 years before FA, but yeah...although at least those two reported.

When Rodney does criticize the Patriots.. sure he will do it with intelligence and knowledge, not hysteria.. or Tom Jackson style...

I like the part where DP asks Harrison if he's nervous for 'gameday', and Harrison can't even figure out what the question is at first, not understanding why someone would be nervous to talk about football.
