How is it possible he is PS eligible if he played 10 games for Dallas? 2 in 2007 and 8 in 2008? I don't think I'll ever completely figure out these PS eligibility rules.

Default PS #3 Isaiah Stanback WR
He's 6'2" 210...returner receiver and he played QB...so a good pick up!! What was said on KFFL was that he would be moving to QB in NE...interesting!!

The games active limit is not accrued; you don't add seasons together. Players can still be eligible if they are active for 8 games in 25 straight seasons.

So the Pats draft QB Julian Edelman, and convert him to a WR. . . .

And they sign Isaiah Stanback, who Dallas converted to WR, and are now going to move him back to QB?



This can't be all they're planning at QB. It makes no bloody sense.

Evidently the information about the switch to QB is coming from Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network. The Projo Blog picked it up from him. Who knows?
