It was just a wording thing. As I said, I know what he was going for. With Rex bloviating as often as he is, you're going to get a lot of Jets comments being scrutinized here. You might as well just sit back and enjoy the ride.

That's assuming it had any "culture" to begin with. My guess is that the only "culture" Tubby Wrecks worries about is what kind they used for whatever wheel of cheese he ate for lunch.

All he is trying to do is instill confidence into his team. Perhaps he shouldn't have said "force to be reckoned with" but he is a rookie and will probably choose his words more carefully next time.

You must not get it. We're trying to trash the guy because HE IS THE QUARTERBACK OF THE NEW YORK JETS.

Honestly, I'm not even quite sure of why defenses are bothering to take the field this year. Just give Sanchez and the Jets the Lombardi already. Jesus, if you just watched ESPN, and ESPN only, you would think that the Jets have won 8 of the last 9 Super Bowls... all of them being against Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles.
