Default OT: You think heads are rollin' in NE - KC fires OC

Chan Gailey has been axed. He was held over from the Herminator. I have a feeling Pioli wanted McDaniels and settled for Todd Haley and decided to roll the dice with the OC. Maybe he should have fired the OL coach while he was at it. Cassel has a 2nd degree MCL sprain and could be ready by week one. But with $28M invested I think they should hold him out until they get the OL fixed.

Two weeks before the start of the season! That doesn't happen too often. Pioli's not fooling around.

This is actually a very surprising move on the part of Todd Haley. One would have thought that they'd have known prior to this whether they could work together..

He was a holdover from the old regime, and Haley had supposedly thought long and hard about serving as his own playcaller before keeping Gailey on. Well, he seems to have changed his mind.

I don't see this as a big deal at all.

Ummm . . . we don't have an OC to fire. You'll have to settle for O'C.

Actually, my thought was to keep Brady out until OUR O-line is fixed.
