I'm not expecting Crable to see a lot of reps at OLB this season, but perhaps that impression will change as camp progresses - I do hope to see him getting work on Special Teams.

I was there Sun.
Only noticed Crable on one rush. Stayed low, got a quick 1st step between Light and Thomas, pulled up as he was between them. Just one play, but seemed capable of getting penetration.
TBC looks big, direct rush on Light, not much push.
Walter throws a nice ball.
Edelman does a little of everything, got more touches than anyone.
Alex Smith looked good.
Was impressed by Hanson's ability to stick the ball. At one point, he was punting sideline to sideline, Dropped the ball within 3 yds of the line without it rolling across 6 times in a row.

sad but true (assuming you mean all the "BB is a dope. I know more than him because I read Reiss's Pieces and watch Felger on Comcast Sports" posts that have been running rampant this year)
oh geez.......another 'BB knows best, so I can live my life without a clue' champion

well.....crable has done nothing......case closed........at this point of his career, even chad jackson had done more

again, he may do something.........but the logic of assuming he will be any kind of considerable factor this year is baseless......there is nothing to assume anything else

WTF don't you understand about the concept of a 2nd year player who has done nothing since he's been here.....not one thing???? potential???? everyone who shows up has that or they would not be there.......

I can pretty much guarantee that someone who has done nothing will not be any part of any rotation...........and so far, crable has done nothing........he may do something in the future, but nothing so far........

the real question is why do you act like an idiot towards anyone you disagree with??? NONONONONO IT WASN'T 2 WEEKS, IT WAS 8 PRACTICES.....I CAN COUNT YOU CAN'T!!!!! .... oh yeah, same old DB

or whatever the hell it was you said.........
Acting like an idiot is your forte tanked. Always has been.

As others have mentioned, Crable was at all the OTAs. Also, do you really believe that he's not been doing anything to make sure that he would be a productive member of this team when he returned to the field? Like studying game film and such?

As I pointed out and you ignored, there is still a month of practices and 4 games before the start of the regular season. That is plenty of time for Crable to earn himself playing time as part of the rotation.

BTW, you logic that Crable won't do anything this year is just as baseless as people saying that he will. Its called an opinion. Sorry that people having an educated one, unlike yourself, makes you upset. Its time you got over it since its been your schtick for about 10 years.

keep throwing the hissy fits, boy.............but you should learn to comprehend......I didn't say he wouldn't do anything, but simply that there's no basis that he would as of right now.......the burgess acquisition is a testament to this.......the pats getting burgess was on the table around draft time, but the pats waited until now.......likely to see what they had in the OTA's.......so to go and get him now is an ominous sign for people who may think that crable is going to do something

there is alot more basis that crable is not ready or unable than he is ready or is able........

More of your idiocy, Tanked. There was no hissy fit. That is you thinking you know wtf you are talking about when, in reality, you are as clueless as ever. My comprehension is just fine. Yours, on the other hand, is the one that needs work. And I pointed that out after your first ignorant reply. The one where you tried to put words in my mouth.

How is the Burgess acquisition a testament to the fact that Crable hasn't done anything? Did you ever stop to think that it was a testament to the failures of Redd, Craig, and Robertson? Or the poor showing by TBC in camp so far?

The trade talks regarding Burgess go back before the draft, according to Belichick. What he didn't say was which side was the one who stalled on the trade. It could have been Belichick stalling until he saw what the depth behind Thomas and Woods shook out to be and/or to see what happened with Taylor since Taylor hadn't made a decision prior to the draft. To say or even imply that Crable's situation was the sole reason for the acquisition is just folly on your part.

Crable made it through all the OTAs unscathed and he was working with the Pats trainers prior to camp. He wasn't put on the NFI list, so his injury was might have happened during one of the workouts. And, while the OTAs were in shorts and shells, that doesn't mean he didn't show anything.

There is only "more basis that Crable isn't ready" if you decide to sit there with your eyes closed and your fingers in your eyes saying "I'm right and your wrong, Nah nah." Otherwise, you'd be rational and see that its even on both sides.

You think that Crable will be active in order to play special teams? We must be thinking of two different players.

Haha. He could technically replace Alexander as the LB on STs, but yeah - if he can't play OLB again, he needs to be red-shirted or dumped. imo

Crable could beat out Alexander on special teams? Perhaps Ciurciu also?

Crable could be inactive every week if Belichick thinks he has a future. After all Woods, Burgess and Banta-Cain all have one year contracts. Crable is signed through 2011. We always have room for a developmental player or two to be expected to be inactive each week.

dude........between ESPN and here, your life has been one long hissy fit....you attack people for simply disagreeing with them

rational is using the data that exists (like the fact that crable has not done a thing, along with historicals that prove 2nd year guys who were non-existent their first year very much tend to not be there their 2nd years)

truth be told, I would prefer it for crable to be effectie since it would help the team I root for........but the goings on of training camp prove otherwise

I'd like to see your basis for saying that crable is ready.........
