Default Anyone else really pleased with Floyd Reese so far?

Guys, we haven't skipped a beat losing Pioli, in part b/c we still have BB but I also think Floyd Reese has done a solid job. Anyone else with me?

The Ninkovich, Walter and now Burgess signings have Floyd Reese written all over them.

We're a veritable swiss watch - precision in action.

With the caveat that I don't know if they're getting into more money problems in the future (particularly with extensions coming up) but so much is dependent on the new CBA that we won't know that for a while.

Just look at most recent gains/losses:

Losses:
Gutierrez
Redd

Adds:
Walter

Next question.

Not just this, the additions of Galloway, Springs, Bodden, Smith, Baker - all very promising personnel moves.

Creator of the Pats must draft Jason Verrett in 2014 no matter the cost fanclub.

Not sure if it's Reese or Caserio or Belichick or some combo. However I do know this Patriots offseason looks more like the Patriots than the Chiefs have. The draft day trades are still there, not in KC. We got our picks signed, they were a little late. So far . . . and it's early . . . it looks like The Patriot Way was more Belichick and Kraft than Pioli but there's a long way to go.

This is a bit unfair to Pioli, I think. He got to K.C. late, had to hire coaches after most had already moved around, had to deal with a scouting staff he hated enough to can right after the draft, and is rebuilding a team that might have had fewer NFL prospects on its roster than Florida and USC.

he got our rookies all signed up easily enough...of course it helped not having any whiney first-rounders...like Crabtree

I wasn't judging Pioli, but it is what it is and SO FAR the Patriots don't seem to have skipped a beat and the Chiefs aren't operating in quite the same manner.
