Default A favorite Patriots (pre-game) moment

Every time I see this on NFLN it makes me laugh: The Pats are in the tunnel before SB 36 and Brady is going bonkers -- jumping and screaming like an out-of-control little kid, head-butting Bledsoe, etc. Then Willie McGinest calmly walks over and grabs him to settle him down. I'd love to hear what he said to Tom. "Be cool kid. Save your energy. We need your best out there tonight."

I miss Willie.

Yeah I remember that one well...hard to believe Tom was like that right after he fell asleep in the locker room...

I didn't see it live. But, have seen it on NFL Films. Before the 04 Div. Playoff Game, P. Manning is walking out of the tunnel and this Pats fan is berating him. Not swearing. Just good old-fashioned trash talk. We own you, you always choke, why are you even showing up?? He was very loud. And, Peton heard every word he said.. Then we proceeded to go out and kick his arse.

One of the more "uncomfortable" moments I can recall was post game when Brady went up to Drew, slapped him on the chest and with some kind of childish look on his face said, "We won!" Bledsoe gave some kind of half-hearted response and looked like he was thinking, "Yeah cool. Can I go home now?"

Ozzie's live Crazy Train entrance during one of the banner nights was an awsome pre-game memory though as far as banner nights go nothing beats the first one opening the new stadium with the Banner. That to this day is the loudest I have ever heard the crowd at Gillete and I haven't missed a game in the new stadium.

That's absolutely my favorite pre-game moment and for years I wondered what Willie said.

I miss the the energetic Brady. I thought the team could rally around him more like that then the poker face he puts on now.

I think it was the season opener against the Bills in 06-07 (?)
and a huge Stealth fighter glided right over Gillette before game time.
It was cool but caught me off guard.

A Stealth Fighter caught you off guard? Who saw that coming?

Brady still gets fired up before and during games. He's just always been cool on the field.
