He will find some other way of trumping up his team despite those problems...he won't keep his big mouth shut for long especially if it takes "pressure" off of his players.

Last year, last week, and yesterday don’t matter. Each game is its own entity. Today no points are added or subtracted due to the past. They'll have a tough season (even if Pace was there for 16 they'd be in tough). I am not in love with the Texans, they could sqeak out that one. I'm also lukewarm about the Titans (but they could beat a rookie QB and a shorthanded D).

It must be - if there's any cheating in the NFL it all originates with the Patriots.

The Bears and Chiefs have been documented as filming opposing team practices and signal calling going back to the 1950s. Clearly this is the fault of the Patriots as well.

Or at least, that's what I glean from reading comments posted at PFT.

But Jets fans shouldn't worry. If there's one player who's up for stepping up to the plate when the pressure mounts its Vernon Gholston.

Is this really a surprise? Pace was terrible in Arizona, he obviously didn't just turn on a switch in New York that all of a sudden made him good over the course of a year.

I can't wait to see this guy after games in press conferences. Can't be a tough guy all the time when you're losing games. I especially look forward to any press conference after they play miami, whether or not they win or lose. You just know that someone will ask about Crowder and the exchanges through the media in the offseason. Hopefully he continues to make a jack*ss of himself. highly entertaining

I don't see the fascination with Rex Ryan. I get that he ran that ravens D for a while, but they were good before he was the DC. They have been good their entire existence.

Marvin Lewis hasn't done so hot since he left...
