Default OT: Ellis Hobbs on ESPN Radio Tuesday

Just a heads up, Ellis will be on ESPN Radio multiple times on Tuesday (890am in Boston).

11:25am he'll be on with Colin Cowherd

If you don't like Colin, you can listen to Ellis on with Tirico and Van Pelt between 2 and 4pm

Just guessing too.....you may see him on First Take/NFL live as well.

He's said very gracious things about the pats in the past (since he's left) don't anticipate him changing his tune.

I don't know how anyone here could NOT like Colin. The guy has a man crush on BB. He's always talking about how the Pats, and BB set the standard for all sports teams. Its nice to hear someone saying something positive about the Pats.

Well, that's true, except for when he was calling for BB to be suspended for eight games over gate. . . .

Hobbs is coming on next after a commercial break.

Teaser was that Hobbs is drawing a picture of Cowherd and that he wants to be an animator for Disney after his NFL career is over.

Is that before or after he does Dancing with the Stars?

Hobbs was very complimentary of BB and the Pats, specifically Brady and Moss. About the closest thing to anything negative was saying there were times BB's methods wore on him psychologically, but he said he loved BB as a coach. Apparently Brandon Meriweather does a hunorous BB impersonation. Said that the knock on Moss taking plays off is all wrong, that he is one of the hardest working players he knows. Also said that the spectacular plays we see Moss make on Sundays are nothing compared to the spectacular plays we don't see him make during practices.

I'm guessing later today or tomorrow an audio file will be available at The Herd with Colin Cowherd - ESPN

Isnt it amazing how players who leave NE all of sudden do these talk show appearances but never did them when they were here?
Another example of this franchise being focussed on the job at hand.

Actually Hobbs briefly touched on that. I forget the exact words, but he was talking about BB driving home the message that your job was to focus on football. Part of that was limiting media access to new players so they could do that.

He also touched on the media misconception of Belichick as the bad guy and said that he somewhat did that on purpose - again, to draw media attention away from the players so they could focus on football in an attempt to help them succeed.

Great interview. I've always liked Hobbs, and he came across well. I was interested to hear he wants to become a Disney animator when he retires. Someone should tell him he'll have to move to Korea.

Funny that literally 90% of the interview was about the Pats and not Philly, though actually not surprising as Cowherd is a huge BB ball-washer.
