Default New England Patriots—First and Foremost

First and Foremost, it's about the team.

New England Patriots?First and Foremost | Bleacher Report

-I also wanted to take a minute to share something about Bleacher Report. I know many people have reservations about the site, but there is an opportunity for anyone who might want to get paid to go to, and report on, all the Patriots games for CBS sports.

-32 correspondents will be chosen, one for each NFL franchise. Entry is open to all applicants.

-Correspondents will report from games and team facilities and work under the supervision of CBSSports.com’s editorial staff.

-Program runs from July 2009 into January 2010 and requires a full-time commitment.

It's worth the shot if you are interested:

Bleacher Report - CBS NFL Correspondent Network

Unfortunately, being an active duty Marine will keep me from competing. It seems like a dream opportunity though.

Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of written work submitted to Bleacher Report during the evaluation period, as well as education and prior journalism experience.

That would be why it's on the internet. Mike Reiss is useless?

You are useless.

I recall a creature who once had articles published by bleacher report...it's absolutely frightening to think of such a creature getting anywhere near an NFL lockerroom - I wouldn't wish it on the Jest.

Why though? Who are you talking about?

Why is it such a big deal?

Thank you Marine, but I did my 20 and I'm retired and caring for elderly parents. I can get away with being a forum regular, but travel and taking time to research and write news articles is more than I could reasonably manage with that workload.

As to why it's a big deal...imagine the most rabidly stupid and obnoxious individual who irritates you on a messageboard and then picture them as a correspondent for the Patriots. CBS Sports Editorial review might help, but then they also oversee Pete Prisco. I wish them luck with the program, it would be great if someone like our own patchick or jays52 could land the gig and bring their perspectives to the coverage, but then they'd get eaten alive by guys like me.

Just because it seems like people have a tendency to be mean to each other on here, I have to clarify if you are being serious or being a jerk lol...
