I like the Jets being this desperate.
They follow the Pats around like a clueless investigator.
When the Pats turn around quick, the Jets look around and
whistle innocently.
So the Pats leave little crumbs of (dis)information.
I look forward to seeing the Jets be had once again on draft day.

I love the fact that the Jets grabbed Vernon Gholston and the Patriots claimed wanted him, but its nice to know he is a bust lets see it happen again!! I can feel a complete starting OLB(great pass rusher) in the first!!

The re-signing of Ricky Williams was not desperate at all.

I thought re-signing Ricky Williams was a good move. Actually, I think that the TO signing was a good move too, since it's only one year. So the Favre trade (which I thought was profoundly idiotic at the time, and only looks worse in hindsight) has to be it.

Jets getting Favre.

I think everyone other than most Jets fans could see it would end in disaster.

I voted for "other." The Favre deal doesn't tell the whole story. The Jets tossed lots of cash in the air last season, in order to get Favre and Woody, and Jenkins, and Faneca. That was desperation. And they didn't even make it to the playoffs. Desperation.
