Easily replaceable.

I'm not sorry at all about this. I'd like FB who can bust the ball into the end zone in addition to blocking. If we only need a blocker, Hochstein should suffice.

I would presume that NO will be cutting their FB soon.

The other option is to take someone in the draft or as a UDFA.

I don't think that the Pats used a FB enough to justify the roster slot for Evans. How many times did you see the Pats line up in the power I? Good luck with the Saints, Heath. He always gave his best and I respect that. But from a talent point of view, he was never likely to gain more than 3 ypc, so he can be replaced.

Evans may not have been a big part of the offense, but he played a prominent role on several ST units. That is the biggest contribution he gave the team.

You know - last year he was often available to the media and I think the guys in the locker room liked him. Not to say the Pats are going to go way down because of his departure, but I think they liked him as a player and as a presence.

Big turnover on special teams this off-season.

Bigger loss to ST than anything, as has been stated.

doubt we'll see a traditional fullback this year.

Lots of the guys liked Heath. His recent charity event in Florida had several of his teammates in attendance. Vince and Randy among them. I like him and wish him well.
