Wes Welker was interviewed by Colin Cowherd today. Among other things, he said he and Cassel worked out a lot together last offseason because "Brady was in LA a lot". Maybe a premonition or something? When asked what he thought of Cassel, Welker said he was fine once he convinced him he didn't need to gun the ball at him when he was only five yards downfield. Somebody said Welker mentioned that somewhere else. Wes did a good job, but he still needs to cut down on saying 'you know' every other sentence. He probably never will. All time great Patriot already.
