Of course, if BB can confirm this information, then I would have to believe it.
FWIW, the guys at Patriots Insiders posted the same information that Schefter et al have been reporting a couple of weeks ago in their insiders forum. I took it with a grain of salt back then and I still do.
ALL THAT BEING SAID...when Adam Schefter, Casserly, P. King and now even the Globe are all saying that Brady will be ready for the start of the season, it does make one start to think that there might be something to their stories. Other than Curran, there hasn't been any other negative report about Brady's recovery. Curran has been slowly backtracking too while being defensive about his report.
Lord I can't wait for training camp to start.
Heck, I'll take mini camps. Of course that will also mean spring so there are a ton of reasons to look forward to that day. Otherwise, I am in the same camp. Good news, bad news, lets just wait and see. The biggest indicator is what they do with Cassel.

Tom Curran is usually pretty reliable and usually has excellent sources, the assumption here is that Springer and Gaspar know more.. there are no sources stated.. he may or may not be ready, but so far these scribes are making a living on conjecture..
I would put my money on Curran, more than any other writer as he as a lot of access to the Pats org and knows a lot of people within it.
You would put Curran over a combination of Gasper, Springer, Charlie Casserly, Adam Schefter, Michael Smith, Michael Silver, and Peter King? Smith has just as much access as Curran (remember he was the only one who had that Belichick renewed his contract in the offseason of 2007 and he even had to sit on the story for a month or two). Silver has more access to Brady than Curran because they have been friends since Silver did an indepth article on him for SI during the 2001 season.
I'm sorry, but I believe the concensus opinion more than Curran especially since Smith just came out with the same exact story as the Globe did with details.

I do agree that seeing is believing, but the evidence is becoming overwhelming that Curran got it wrong. Michael Smith also disputes Curran's story too and he emphasized that his source was very well placed and in a position to know the truth and he has as good of sources as Curran. He didn't just say sources.
And that EVERYONE else is wrong too. Peter King, Charley Casserly, Adam Shefter, Michael Silver. Tom Curran = nice guy, over his head.
Tom Curran is a trusted confident of the Pats Organization and a very well respected scribe.. he is usually able to find out a whole lot more than Casserly,Schefter, Silver, King etc. do not get enamored by the names.. have heard him a couple of times on the radio, his information is usually very well sourced. He makes a compelling argument about his base of knowledge without divulging sources..
Curran is known for getting behind the scenes, but if you listen to what he says it is not all that different than what others say.. I would put my money on Curran any day of the week.

In some cases yes, in some no. And when you put them all together, well . . . you do the math.

I have no doubt his "information" was correct that Brady had a setback, the initial part of the season was at risk and that follow on surgeries were possible.
However from watching him on Comcast Sports Tonight I am not always impressed with his thought processes. I don't think he gets it and I can VERY EASILY take the man I've seen on TV and see him mis evaluating legit information. I'm not saying he's stupid, he's average. He often forgets names and draws strange conclusions. Maybe you disagree but that's how I saw him before this whole Brady mess started.
Oh, and it's not a matter of who do you believe. Curran threw out generalities. Now we're getting specifics on him dropping back and throwing, doing his skill drills, etc. Specifics that Curran didn't provide. There is no question who to believe here.

Glad to hear that and assume you know what you're talking about, as I had no way of evaluating the negative stuff a few paragraphs down in the article about stability and stiffness. So, thanks. That's good news.

I read and heard something completely different, Tom was specific all the rest of the scribes were like lemmings just following up generalities..
