Default Seely to Cleveland - NOT Seattle

According to Reiss, Seely's move to Cleveland was to take the Asst. Head Coaching / Special Teams "Coordinator" position.

Anyone else find it interesting that people on the BB staff continue to leave to be with Mangini? First Daboll and now Seely. One would think that after the way he left the Pats and then with the camera controversy, he'd be anathema.

Or ... could it be that they smell blood and will be the vultures waiting in the wings.

Wasn't Daboll already with M*****i in New York (left because he wasn't given a promotion here)?

I know Daboll left in 07 because he wanted to be the QB coach and Belichick said no, I find it interesting with Seely, even though he is from the tickle me pete era.. See ya Brad, did nice job developing Ghost, but dont know why he would go with Mangini other than its a promotion for a asst head coach.. Maybee the stories that Mangini was used in the spy gate thing, and Tannenbum is the real heal?? who knows..

That was what I was referring to. Daboll left the Pats to be with Mangini in New York. And now Seely is leaving to be with Mangini in Cleveland.

I still think Belichick and Seely just decided to move on without each other. After all these years, suddenly Seattle asks to talk to him. Then he goes to Cleveland. And befire he signs with Cleveland, we sign Scott O'Brien. Too much coincidence for me.

There was obviously a bit of bad feeling then (not being appreciated as he thought he should be) but nothing like what developed after "Videogate". It makes the RAC/Seely hires more surprising.

just goes to show that just because BB and mangini are at crossheads the other coaches are as well. Maybe some of them like mangini better than BB spygate aside.
