Default *Speculation* If McDaniels leaves who is the next OC

Anyone have any thoughts. In house they have Fears, Mangurian and Dante.

My guess is if they stay in house they go with Mangurian, he has OC experience. But they would also have to hire someone or promote someone to be the QB coach and TE's coach.

Anyone have any thoughts on realistic outside candidates?

Whoever it is, he'll suck, he won't be creative enough, he'll be to blame for every failed third down conversion attempt, incomplete pass and stopped run, and several posters here will know every single call he makes hours in advance....

So there is a candidate named Mangurian, or a Mangurian candidate

Mangurian or . . .

Bill O'Brien - Official New England Patriots Biography

Also he will probably be the unnamed de facto OC like McDaniels was the first year.

Very good. I almost asked who will be the next Patsfans.com Pinata. But figured I would keep it clean.

He has been both a quarterback's coach and an offensive co-ordinator

at the college level. Probably signed as a possible replacement for

McDaniels. I'm sure he will have lots of input from Belichick.
