Again the weather was a big issue, but not as much as you'd think... most people would probably have been as close had they thought the day would be sunny and bright. Most changes cut Arizona's score but also the Patriots', so had relatively little effect.

Only one player was within two 2TDs... and he won for the second time this year, having also been the best predictor for the second Miami game.

A new leader this week... smg93 appears to be peaking in December just like the Pats. Last week's leader cstjohn17 and former leader Bostonian1962 are tied for third, only four points back.

With the way scores have been, 2 TDs is still well within reach even if this is the final week, and that puts a dozen players in the red zone. But this may not be the final week... the game lives as long as the Patriots do!

This week's average was our third-highest, 32 points.

I have no clue how I got near the top of the leaderboard, other than "the game's still wide open" which I keep repeating. I was 22nd only three weeks ago. I don't know if anyone noticed, but my prediction is usually the sample score in the first post of the thread, "For example, if you predict..." I usually change the sample scores each week, though I have forgotten a couple of times, or added a changed prediction later. Like many have found, somehow changing your prediction close to gametime rarely does much good and often hurts. Strange how that works.

Yeah, count me in as one of those who out-thought himself last week. I think I have too many people to pass at this point but the top ten is within reach. Hats off to NJPatsfan26, you were the only one remotely close to the final score last week.

I changed my score twice last year, and it hurt me both times. So this Sunday, I am watching pre-game stuff, and saw all the snow etc., and figured it'd be hard to kick the ball. I already had the Pats at 28, but I was going to change Zona from 24 to 21. I had it typed to change it........sat there.......and decided that it hurts me to change the score, stick with my original prediction. I closed the browser without sending. I'm now 4 points out of first instead of 1 point out. Now I know we all have stories like this, so my point is:

Stick with your first prediction...........or don't stick with it.
