Default The 4 and 12ers Can Fry The Phish

Anyone else onboard with the Pats getting some of the help they need starting this weekend? SF bucked the trend with a win coming east against Buffalo, then look care of the Jests. Miami would be hospitable weather wise. Singletary is essentially in a job interview every week, and I think every player is on the "I better perform or I'm looking for a new team next season" short list. Would sure make the Pats win on Sunday that much better knowing that only the Jests stand in their way of the division. And with trips to Seattle and a game against the Phish, boy, that'd sure shorten the odds against the Pats. Wonder if Singletary got any anonymous scouting packages this week...

They've set a strong goal to go 8-8, which means running the table. I'm all for it. Especially since I think the Dolphins will beat the Jets in the finale.

the fact that so many are now picking the possible upset of 49ers beating the fins i doubt it will happen especially without gore and a 1pm game on the east coast.

They only had Gore for the a bit last game, no? I think he's game-time decision.

Well, anyway, I know I'm rooting for them.

Do you think teams would do that/ have? Would that be insulting to Singletary if BB tried to send him something (as if to say you need my help)?

well iam rooting too but after last 2 weeks of beating the bills and jets , they cant really sneak up on anyone now plus playing on the road hurts.
if anything both fins and jets are now playing under pressure a little bit so that might factor in a bit . last time the fins had a chance to take the lead in the div against the pats they lost.
jets are lucky now that they dont face a passing team like SF,Denv and pats anymore so their road might actually be easier.

I would feel a lot better about SF's chances if Frank Gore didn't have a sprained ankle. DeShaun Foster was okay with Carolina but has done nothing this year. In the last two games he touched the ball he had 16 carries for 35 yards against the Jets, and 10 carries for 17 yards against the Rams. His stats for the season: 37 carries for 78 yards, an average of 2.1 yards per carry; plus 6 catches for 78 yards. He has five games with zero touches and two more with only one touch, which tells me Singletary doesn't have a whole lot of faith in his production.

frank gore in martz's passing game is the big factor they will miss ..not as much in the running game since martz will throw the ball against the fins. The catch gore made against the pats in the EZ was quite good for e.g

Not at all. From what I understand it is actually kind of routine. It would not be BB claiming to be smarter, just more familiar with the Dolphins. (div rival vs interconf.) Norv isn't smarter than BB, but BB wouldn't turn down hearing what Norv knows about their div rival the Raiders.

I don't know... would you rather do your own math homework, or work with the D+ student that already did it?
