So does this help us win 8 in a row ... I doubt it.
Personally ... I'd rather see them go 2-2 and grab a decent draft pick.
We have sustained too many injuries to realistically have a chance of making the big dance.

You'd rather lose and move up 3 or 4 draft slots?

Really?

Bad boy, Icy. I hope you're kidding. We can (should) go 3-1 and 4-0 isn't unreasonable. The AFC isn't strong. We have about as much chance to win the SB now as we did at this point in 2001 IMO.

Welcome back. I don't know what kind of shape Colvin is in, but we count on Seau. He will help defend against the run. Mayo and Guyton have taken a lot of reps for rookies.

I suspect that we'll find out about someone tomorrow, but perhaps not. Maybe Woods and Bruschi are just out for a week or two. If someone goes on IR, it could be Redd.

We have plenty of linebacker youth for next years camp. We have a full complement of rookies, even before we start with veterans:
OLB: Woods, Crable, Redd, Roberstson, Craig, Ruud
ILB: Mayo, Guyton

OLB: Thomas, Vrabel, Colvin
ILB: Bruschi, Seau

And some of you guys think Belichick will make LB a high priority in the draft?

I was really hoping to see Seau back on the field this season. I really like watching him play. The story All-Access did on him last year was great.

Probably a better chance. The Giants are great but without Plax they seem beatable. IMO, no team this year is as good as the Steelers and Rams in 2001.

If Warren is healthy for the playoffs nobody will be able to run on us.
