Default Why in the hell does it take a bad game for Brady to get any respect

Why does it take a loss for people to realize what a special player Brady is. NOT WAS!

even brady had bad games..

what set brady apart (to me mind you) is his big game play. He played his best in the biggest games on the best stages.. s

To be honest, I don't think it does. Plenty of people had plenty of respect for Brady last year, after he was hurt when Cassel was struggling, and even when Cassel was throwing for 400 yards.

In short, fans are fickle. Always have been, always will be. Sports fans are like kids with toys, they have their favourite but when a shiny new one comes along they want that one.

"Fan" comes from the word "fanatic."

Rationality rarely comes into play.

I don't know what station you listen to, but the hosts on WEEI have been absolutely killing anyone who was in the "trade Brady" mode when they called.
