Yeah but now that we're here, we might as well get this fossil to 1,000 posts and then let it go into the tar.

Besides, this thread is getting dangerously close to 1,000 threads. So assuming that there are 250 posts pointing out how stupid the other posts are, there are still about 650 posts of stupidity. That is a lot of stupidity.
I think your numbers should be reversed at best. It's proably like 900:100. I haven't seen a real pertinent post in this thread for a long time.
But I agree with Kontra: on to 1000!

While your at it, don't buy any funds with Madoff. The thread was never about the chances of trading Brady.
I guess people were thrown off by the thread title......exactly what was the purpose of this thread then?

Actually, that title was changed at the start of the thread, and still does not grasp the subject matter.
One more time: the bottom line of members who have expressed an opinion that differed from the majority, was to look at the Patriots options. It was never about the chances of trading Brady, nor was it ever intended to be a debate. Look at all the posts (as I've done a number of times) and you'll never see one post which state that the Patriots SHOULD trade Tom. It was about not shutting the door on all your options. It was an hypothetical look at what picks/players might that trade bring vs Cassel. From that, people got irate, squirrely, and the accusations flew. This thread is no different from any other thread in this forum, other then it pertains to Tom Brady, thus the problem.

Very true, but most don't see it as an option so it has been deemed ludicrous.
