You really like Tom Brady, I get that, and I believe he may be one of the greatest ever, but that wouldn't stop me from contemplating a trade for him.
This is the second time you've posted like you know me personally. You should stop that. I'm hardly the only one around here who's a fan of Tom Brady.
You say I'M short of logic and then write your last sentence. I wasn't talking about trading him in that post you quoted, I was talking about BB cutting him (getting nothing for him). If you're going to talk down to somebody at least read their post carefully.

LMAO! Marino wasn't a great qb?
I'm not sure if Indy will make the playoffs and you've changed your stance. You said to name one great qb whose team hardly ever struggled. Indy had a losing record not long ago.

I consider a team to struggle, if they lose on a long term bases, such as carson palmer's team, and never sniff the superbowl. Meaning, carson is not a great qb...you take brady or manning and put them on that team, and they go much, much further.

the media and a lot of fans are saying trade him
I think the whole premise of the thread is wrong, which is why I asked who are the mainstream media thinking this way and who are the fans and where are the posts saying this. Most of those people (if they exist) are on the attention-grabbing shock-value-chasing lunatic fringe.
If they seriously think that, then they are crazy. Again, this is not to say that the thought of trading TB at some point is unfathomable, just that the thought of shopping him around for the highest bidder is pretty much crazy, even if Cassell keeps putting up 400-yard games. This is one year. Last year Derek Anderson convinced the Browns he was the QB of the future and that future was a half a season.

They play crappy Cleveland, crappier Cincinnati, crappiest EVER Detroit, Jacksonville after they have long since given up, and then Tennessee in game 16 when all their starters will likely be resting and their seeding will be most likely be assured.
Unfortunately, Indy is pretty much a playoff lock at this point even though they don't dominate anybody decent and always win by 3-4 points after everything goes their way.
I'll be cheering like hell for them to lose evey game, but I don't see it happening more than once, and 11-5 is going to get in unless there is a really bizarre series of circumstances.

Indy really has been infuriatingly lucky this season. The Titans game comes to mind. It's going to be hard not to go crazy if they actually start going deep into the playoffs.

He wasn't traded to KC until 3 years later after his most serious injury. But he was hurt years before that and Young played.
"I was leaving late one night, and this tall skinny kid approached me holding a pizza box. I said, "I know who you are, you're Tom Brady, sixth-round pick from Michigan." And he replied, 'and I'm the best decision this organization has ever made.' I was stunned. The amazing thing is he didn't say it to be arrogant...he was sincere. I went home and told everyone about it." - Bob Kraft

In fact, Young relieved Montana during the 1987 playoff loss vs Minnesota because Montana was inneffective. And that famous run NFL films ( and the Burger King) shows all the time was during the 1988 season.
