It's amazing how many brutal injury years this team has had. The '03 team lost every linebacker except Bruschi for about 6 weeks. The '04 and '05 teams lost 50% of their secondary. Bruschi's stroke, the OL/RB injuries in '05, Seymour, Rodney, Maroney, Brady...

The Patriots have had some crap luck the past 4 years. The homer in me always says, "well we'll be back and healthy next year, and since the young guys have been forced into action they will be that much better." I had the same feeling as a kid about the late 80's - early 90's Celtics teams after Bird went down.
