Gaffney's a lot more proven than the hall of famer. Are you saying Cassel hasn't missed a wide open Moss more than once?

Ray me boy, you're puting up a straw person arguement. The posters are simply saying that quality play by the WRs would make Matt's performance and possibly our W/L record better. Realisticly, both Moss and The Hut aren't playing their best football. That is not saying that they're bad, either, just not hiting their expected level.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

Well Moss and Gaffney are unproven commodities. I'm sure once they change their games to accommodate the greatness that is Matt Cassel, they could be adequate receivers in this league.
It's obvious Matt knows exactly what he's doing, so it has to be his receivers making mistakes.
Nice of you to say Randy isn't bad, despite his holding MC back. I know he tends to lack confidence at times.

If Watson doesn't fumble, we're not 6-4.
If the defense can stop the wildcat, we're not 6-4.
If you could see past years of experience and pay-scales... we're still 6-4.
Cassel showed he can put the game on his back, just like Tom. He showed poise under pressure. In numerous games he showed the ability to keep going back to the guys with the slippery hands and they have put up points. If anyone is "up and down" it the New England Patriots football team. Like it or hate, Cassel represents more consistency than most of the other players.
If "ifs and buts" were candy and nuts, we'd all have a Merry Christmas.
