Default Dear Patriots Nation

WTF is up with all the complaining about the refs. You're not Steelers fans. You're not Colts fans. You're not Jets fans. You're f.cking Patriots fans and as such you're better than that.

Nobody lost this game but ourselves. We made too many mistakes. Too many unforced errors. Watson's fumble. The snap to Cassel. Not taking the FG in the first half on 4th and 3. The blown coverage in OT on 3rd and 15. The list goes on and on.

In many ways we played great tonight. We just didn't play a great "game". If or when we ever learn how to play complete games, this team can be scary good. We've got to stop killing ourselves. We've got to stop making mistakes. We need to find consistency.

Having said all that, this team might be about ready to run the table.

The refs did not lose the game for us. We needed no help to do that. I am a bit sad but pleased that we fought back to tie it. That said, I hate this overtime setup.

The refs didn't lose the game for us tonight, but they did a darn good job keeping the Jets in it. There were some terrible calls at key times, and never a holding call on the Jets OLine. The years we have gone deep into the playoffs we have been able to overcome these kinds of calls, and if we plan to do so again we need to step up.

Well said if we are a true dynasty we can't blame anybody but ourselves. When i lived in pittsburgh it was always we(the squeelers) are the better team we just diedn't play up to our potential. Wait till next time. They never gave the other team credit or could accept that they could have blown the game.

I don't see a clamor about the refs. There is one thread on ONE CALL. This is a crap thread. Just go post in that thread instead of cluttering our site with uninformatively titled crap threads.
One star.

The difference is that Brady calmly calls audibles while Manning flaps like a chicken, barks 11 code words, and makes sure every camera in the stadium has documented his once-in-a-generation (and patented, I believe) ability to see a defensive formation and change the play. Both have the same effect, but Manning transcends measurable human intellect while Brady merely chooses a different play.

Who the hell is complaining about the refs? Heck for that matter I didn't see any NON-calls. I thought they called a great game.

Where are all the threads with people compaining about the officiating? There was one thread complaining about ONE call. I hardly call that a chorus of complaints. Are you people actually reading the messages here?
