According to this entry in the Denver Post's University of Colorado sports blog, Patriots rookie Terrence Wheatley underwent surgery last Friday to repair ligaments in his left wrist.
Something wrong with surgeons in New England? The nursing staph aren't good enough?

He went to college in CO. Who knows why he went there but the way the media and others around this area blab people's medical information I don't blame the Pats or T-Wheat in the least, same as I don't blame Brady for having his surgery back home.

Tht explains the "limp wrist" It may not be a broken wrist, but i think it will take awhile to come back from.

Who cares about what other people gossip? If I'm having surgery, and I can choose where to have it, then I'm having it where the best surgical staff/facilities are, and if that's here in New England, then so be it.

The good news is that, if it's true that he had the surgery on his left wrist, then his surgically-repaired (multiple times) right wrist isn't the problem.

And that it's not broken, though it might have dislocated. And he's not on IR after surgery, so he might play some more this season.
