I kind of wish Eisen had come back with "So Marshall, what you're saying is that you think the Patriots are not only going to win this game, but the Super Bowl as well?"

if course not. faulk picks the pats to lose every game but if they win it all , how can find a silver lining(read -ve pats talk) leads him to talk crap.
i still am stunned hearing him and deion talking "divide the locker room" crap next yr. i want to know which player will pick cassel over brady next yr including cassel himself.

Brady has a 14 million dollar cap hit next year. Stranger things have happened.
Re: NFLTA Discusses tomorrows game (Warning, explicit chuckle-headedness).
One thing that's apparent is not all the NFLN/ESPN commentators have been keeping up with Cassel's progress. It's a case of "Ok, we're going to talk about New England and Cassel, lets look up some stats". And then they talk about sacks and how that hurts the Patriots. And how the Jets have a better chance if they can stop the Pats' running game and force Cassel to win it. True 6 weeks ago, may well be the opposite today.
Tonight's game *might* be a wakeup call to the world that Cassel has progressed. If he delivers. The rain won't help, though.

The rain won't help on either side but at least we know what our field is like in the rain....so maybe that will assist in our victory tonight.
Re: NFLTA Discusses tomorrows game (Warning, explicit chuckle-headedness).
None of them actually looked at how Cassel has progressed. They put up cummulative stats vs. TB. They spoke of number of sacks Cassel has taken. Do they mention how many sacks he has taken in the last 3 games, NO? Do they mention that the OL was banged up and is finally playing with all starters? NO.
These guys are as bad an entertainment tonight or the other gossip shows, spinning tales, stirring controversy in the name of news.....EFF 'EM ALL

A sarcastic Bill Belichick on Tom Brady's finger injury, "It's not life threatening."
Re: NFLTA Discusses tomorrows game (Warning, explicit chuckle-headedness).
That they don't realize you can't manufacture a potential QB controversy looming with an unsigned QB is the real hoot. Imagine what they pay these clowns not to mention the cost of producing these games that are being seen by half a normal football audience.
Listening to sports talk radio and TV here I often find myself wondering about the industry in general and how the vast majority land let alone retain these well paying jobs without doing their homework. If the rest of us showed up for work every day and just tossed uninformed crap around we'd get canned in a heartbeat in favor of someone who actually knew what they were talking about...
That said, this is the kind of blather that will boost Matt's stock into the tag and trade scenario strata, so have at it mediots... How many QB challenged teams would pass on the chance to trade a couple a picks for a guy capable of creating a QB controversy in NE...LOL

The really funny part is now apparently he thinks establishing being beat by a system rather than an emerging HOF QB somehow alters what happened to him in 2001... You still lost either way Marshall, learn to live with it.

Yeah....one day I really wish who ever is hosting a game with him and say is the Patriots versus whoever to just call his ass out as say you lost....your hatred needs to stop......
The problem with that is no one would say that on live TV...and even if they did, I doubt Marshall would comprehend it....
