--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I freaking hate the Pats, I hate the uniform, the owner the HC. I hate Phil Sims and Jim Nantz because they sound like teenage girls in a tweeter when they talk about the Pats. I hate living in CT because it’s in NE. I hate being on Thursday night football because we all know the Pats make it a marquee game worthy of being on Thursday night. The thing I hate most about the Pats is losing big games to them when it matters. Thursday night is the biggest game this team has played since 98 in Denver. Yea I know we were a field goal away in 04 but we all know the Pats would have kicked the living ****** out us in the AFC finals that year. Better to blame the loss on Herm and Brien than be humiliated again by the Pats.

I know come Friday if we don’t win this game the front page is going to be filled with threads, Mangini must go, Favre was a mistake we win this game with Chad, Gholston is a complete bust, DBrick is a JAG, Thomas Jones is a bum, Sutton needs to go now, Shotty can’t call a game if his life depended on it, etc., etc., etc. only to be pushed off the front page by threads telling us it wasn’t that big a deal, we can still make the playoffs if we beat Denver at home and Miami losses to NE and on the last game of the season we beat Miami, Indy losses, Buffalo ties and the Chargers and Jaguars forfeit.

This is the thread for the real Jets fans the ones that are going to put it all on the line Thursday night have their rope at the ready, sleeping pill prescription refilled, cyanide capsule implanted, electric chair plugged in, warm bath drawn with razor blades ready, gun loaded, car in the garage running with the windows up, Stove on with the pilot light off, Seppuku sword at hand, ready to do the right thing should we lose this game. This is the season, no excuses no BS all in. This is the game where the butterflies are going all day the expectations of a battle coming down to the last few seconds with everything hanging in the balance. This is the game real Jets fans have been waiting for. I’m all in are you?
LMAO!

What the Jets OP is describing sounds similar to how this place will be if the Pats lose Thursday night.
Just change some of the names.

Wow. Such anger. Get over it already and root for a real NFL team.

Ah, beautiful. Put these Jets back where they belong, below the Patriots.

I can see where this guy is coming from. I mean if you are a die hard Jests
fan, you've waited a long time for a night like Thursday night.
Now the stars are aligned. PATs have lost several key players ..
their hero has his arm ready to sling it ... it's now or never.
If they can't do it now... will they ever?

Elite huh? That's fine, if getting by a "technically" crippled Pats team makes you feel elite, good for you. The Jets can swagger, our boys be going to work like every other day.

He's pretty spot on. If (er.. when the Jets lose) the Pats will own the tie breaker should both teams be tied at the end of the season.
