Default Who do you blame the loss on?

In a game that was played very well on both sides, Who on the NE sideline do you blame for the loss on 1 play or call or maybe something else that could have decided it in our favor?

Bad Calls.
Faulk got the 2pt. conversion and BB shouldn;t have thrown the flag when Cassell sneaked it for a first. We should have gone for the 1st on 4th and 1.

We won that game-it was all bad luck and communication.

The colts arent going anywhere this year.

We are though!

I Forgot to include Thomas's stupid penalty and that may be indeed the worst moment to cost us the game.

Other...I blame the Colts for putting themselves in a desperate position by losing early in the season. Can we stop already with the Blamapalooza?

I think my blame Dave Thomas thread is the first negitive thread I have started since I called for the burning of all red hoodies back in Feb. Which actually a pretty good streak of positive posting.

Other: They lost as a Team.

It is easy to single out a few plays and a few people and play
the blame game. That is because it is what is most obvious to many.

But there are a lot of factors that go into a win or loss

On a win you might say it's Cassel's two TDs or Morris 140 yds etc
but all 11 guys are responsible for the points or NO points.
If one guy obviously blows it with a failed catch how is that more important
than the 4 or 5 failed blocks that caused a failed pass or a failed
3rd and short to end a drive?

Same applies to defense.

It really disturbs me to see a few of PATs players or coaches
singled out as a reason for a loss.
It is a TEAM thing and if the T E A M played better they wouldn't have
lost even with the obvious mistakes.

Dave Thomas.

I agree that Belichick should not have called either of his timeouts. I agree that Gaffney's drop cost seven points (well 6-8 points). However, those were errors at key times. The error by Thomas is of a different kind. If he were expendable, he'd be gone.

There are always multiple things you could do better. We tend to focus on the mistakes that happen at the WRONG time, but they don't necessarily hold more responsibility than mistakes at other times.
