The end is near Boston. Brady goes down, the Red Sox lose to Tampa, and now Brady may be done for good. The biggest star outside of Larry Legend in Boston history may never play a down again.
The mistake of not waiting the extra weeks will probably cost Brady his career. It's reported that the infection is serious and another surgery could be on the horizon. What I don't understand, is the rush on Brady's part

We havent heard anything since Dr. Andrews came out and talked about whats going on with Brady's knee, cases like this no news is good news. If the infection was not getting better and needed another procedure we would of heard about it by now.
Having three surgeries in such little time is very disturbing. I don't think he's career is over, but I don't think he will ever be the same. It's sad because Moss will be a year older but I don't know what that guy is taking about concerning Welker. In fact, Welker hasn't reached 30 years old yet. The author is right about the O-line, which many of of were concerned about heading into the season. Whether it's Cassel's fault or not, the Pats O-line looks like of the worst in the league. However, they are getting better as the weeks go on. With that said, the Pats top draft pick this April must be an offensive tackle or guard. At this point, the Pats #1 priority is Tom Brady.

If I'm not mistaken, two of those 'surgeries' consisted of treating the infection, which I heard a doctor explain on WEEI are minimally invasive procedures which don't meet the layperson's standard/criteria for 'surgery.'

I apologize for interrupting your deeply pessimistic outlook. Please carry on.

I dont agree with you in terms of Brady will never be the same, Carson Palmer and Rivers both returned the following year to have great seasons maybe even career bests, both had much less time to recover then Brady will. The fact that Brady is a pure pocket passer only helps his cause.
The o-line hasnt played up to par with last year but I dont think its fair saying Brady made them look all better then they really are, I do agree he did buy them time with his quick decision making and ability to step up or the side to avoid the rush, but there were games last year I remember where he'd sit back there for about 4 or 5 seconds with nobody within a couple of feet of him. They oline and Brady deserve alot of credit for last season, the line is still full of talent.
As for Moss ya he'l be a year older but just last year before he signed on it was reported he ran a 4.3 or 4.4 or somethin within that range, the guy can still run tremendously and will be just as dangerous next season, he's still the best deep threat in the game and commands more double teams then any WR in the game.
this was a dumb story. if there's anything belichick has proved, it's that he can put a team together where brady has a chance to succeed. i'm not sure he'll ever have the same confidence, but he'll come back and play, and they'll do well. how well, we will see.
