Default Pats go without a penalty for first time in franchise history

From NFL.com:

Key stat
The Rams committed nine penalties for 63 yards, while the Patriots did not draw a single flag all game.

Granted, they very well should have, but when was the last time the Patriots had zero accepted penalties (and the way this is worded, it sounds like not a single flag, let alone accepted penalty)?

BTW--IIRC, through seven games, the Cassel-led O is the least penalized O in the entire NFL (nine penalties, IIRC).

This team has been disciplined since week 1, they dont hurt themselves with penalties.

They did draw a holding call but the result of the play was a sack, so it wasn't accepted.

You're right though, a very well disciplined game by the whole team.

I'm surprised Wilfork didn't at least get one, what'd he get like 9 last week?

Seymour should have drawn roughing the passer atleast once, probably twice, though he may not have tried it again if he got called the first time.

If he tries that crap on Manning it will be 15 easy!

I visited a Rams forum for entertainment and you'll never guess what they had to say on this topic...

2. You're probably not going to beat NE in Foxboro unless you do what Miami was able to pull off -- a thrashing. Close games will go to the Pats. I am not yet ready to say that this game was fixed or biased from the league side, but officials can become biased and give certain players a break if they hold them in high regard. In other words, they don't see the obvious hold from a Pats player, while they'll ring up Incognito or Barron every time. Seymour can rough up Bulger without a call. But ZERO penalties??? Not possible.
Wow, what a long time to be bitter.

Anyway, if you have time, here's some free amusement.

So that's how they won. Was it Walt, or Winter?
