Didn't mean to leave out the possibility of O'Connell being the next franchise. That is a very real possibility, depending on his development/coachability and Brady's future. I tend to believe Brady will be playing at a high level beyond O'Connell's tenure here though. But you are correct I shouldn't have labelled him (or even Cassel for that matter) as a definitive stopgap option with no potential for longterm success here.
