Sounded pretty good on TV. My father was there (using my tickets ) and he said it was loud. What did you guys think, especially the folks at the game?
I'm just curious, I'm not trying to insinuate or instigate anything.

I thought it sounded loud, and then several times I took the remote, and turned the sound up and it sounded even louder. At one point, in, I wanna say the second quarter, the phone rang and so I hit "mute". That was the only time it got eerily silent, although I could hear the person on the phone (my bookie Louie The Snake) just fine.
EDIT: I don't really have a bookie. That was inserted for entertainment purposes only.
At the beginning I thought I was at a funeral - it picked up after the first Bronco fumble. Got really loud towards the 2nd half (especially when the cameras picked up Randy dancing).

Was he wearing a scary Viking costume? If so, I saw him.

I thought the crowd was great, especially for an early season game. I think a lot of regulars sold their tickets though and their was a lot more fights and people being taken out than I have ever seen at Gillette
I felt it was about the same....maybe a little louder as the rout went on.
Best moment was when the entire defense starting dancing during a time out with music blaring (3rd quarter I think) which got the crowd up and into it and loud - this will be featured on Patriots All Access this weekend - DON'T MISS IT!!

It was loud in the restroom and on the concourse before the game even started. Lots of alcohol flowed in the preceding hours.

Now THAT was bizarre. I've never seen anything like that in 45 years of watching football. I thought to myself that this will just piss off Denver, and sure enough they nearly drove the length of the field. I hope BB spanked them for it the next day.

YUP! My sister, brother & sister in law, and I were dancing along with everyone else. The crowd was great, the game was great. I feel pretty lucky, being this was only my second time attending a regular season game.

I was there. And at one point my Father turned me and said you know what maybe this crowd is lame as he thought it was quite. I said this is about what it always is. As fans we are very spoiled and thus we don't cheer non-stop regardless of the outcome like real hungry fans may but we cheer when a cheer is called for (after big plays, key defensive moments, and when things are going really well like vs Denver). The crowd was no better or worse monday there was just more to cheer.
In our crowds defense we are not as dumb as other crowds. Very rarely do we cheer our offense, we let them work (only exception being the First Down call from the announcer). Last week in San Diego they were consistantly cheering their offense, and not just after big plays, at the start of drives and on key 3rd down moments, it was pretty dumb of their fans.
