Default Brady has 2nd surgery after infection

Per Reiss he sufferred an infection following the first.

Quote:
"This can happen to anyone having a surgery, but it's a relatively rare occurrence after knee procedures," DiNubile said. "The earlier you recognize and treat it - that's surgery and antibiotics - the less likely you're going to have problems down the line. The best-case scenario is that they got it early, and if everything goes right, he would be back at the same time as was expected."

Certainly NOT good news.
It is definitely a rare occurrence following this type of surgery.

It may slow down the start of his rehabilitation

It would not be good news if he had this corrective surgery in March/April.

It's never good news. But he's 9 months out of football.

2 Weeks after the original surgery, no big deal - For us anyway as fans - For him, it sucks bad. More discomfort and he has to go thru all of the post surgery BS again.

An Infection is not as bad as some issue with scaring and the transplant ACL, what ever kind he opt'd for.

I would assume it's a much less serious surgery to clean up infection and get antibiotic directly to the affect area.

Didn't Manning's surgery get infected as well?

Yes, and he played 4 weeks later.

Now, his original surgery was not as serious as Brady's - But it still got infected.

He needs to get off the left coast and get in a Hyperbolic chamber in Foxboro for 2-3 months.

Umm . . . I believe you mean hyperbaric chamber. A hyperbolic chamber would be this board since Week 1.

I've always thought that Boston's hospitals were the top of

the line.
