I think for the first time in quite a long time, we may have some people feeling a little happy for our success because of Cassel.

I'm just hoping he improves on his longball. I'm hoping to see Moss tear it up against the Dolphins again.

I'll admit its a nice story but the 'Matt Cassel beat Brett Favre' comment is overexaggerating - The New England Patriots beat the New York Jets is more apt as most of you say its a complete team game and no one player makes a big difference.

The story would be of more interest if this team goes on a nice run and can actually beat a team up ahead that is likely making the playoffs - We have played crap thus far and will so again this week -

Not until week 6 is anything exciting as we are just playing the sisters of the poor until then and anything but 4-0 would be incredibly dissapointing up to that point so let the Cassel feel good story look great right now but on hold at the same time.

Success because of Cassel - Are you serious?

Game 1 - The Pats Defense avoids overtime by stopping the Chiefs inside the 5 with seconds to go

Game 2 - The defense pressures Favre much of the game and the secondary was superb in covering the receivers and Lamont Jordan moved the chains everytime he was asked to.

What you said is insulting the reason this team won those 2 games - It was DEFENSE and a controlled offense limiting mistakes

Cassel has played well considering what he is being told to do and that is manage the game and has not made rookie-like mistakes but DON'T say success in beating 2 scrub teams is because of Cassel - not true

Well, you have to give Cassel at least some credit . . . after all, (almost) every offensive play starts off with the ball in the QB's hands.

Re-word his comment to... "Because of Cassel, THEY are happy with OUR success".

If you read my statement I DO give Cassel credit for doing what his job is and that is to just minimize mistakes and throw to safe areas without trying to beat double coverage and hand the ball off to our talented RBs which he HAS done so far but the Defense is the reason this team is 2-0 the offense is just running smoothly and almost quietly without mistakes and hopefully that will continue.

The defense is the engine of the car so far keeping it running - Cassel is the driver and driving carefully to make sure it does not go off course.

Not what he said though - A few words can make a difference between an idiotic statement and one that is understandable

e-money was right, you are wrong. If I missed a comma, I apologize to you.

I'm saying people won't be so anti-Patriots because of the underdog Cassel.

As long as Belichick is the head coach there will be haters

And is hating the team so bad to you that you hope Cassel changes that attitude towards Patriot Nation?

I could give two hoots on what others outside of the team think but in fact I actually find it entertaining from those naysayers

Easterbrook and Marshall Faulk are 2 of my favorite Naysayers since they spew stuff so dumb its funny

let's not jump to conclusions after 1 game. but, that being said, we have to be pretty pleased from what we have seen thus far.
