I want to go down soon but it won't be this weekend, probably over Columbus Day. Please fill us in on what its like.

I know that Sat is free but I'd like to know what they are charging for admission to the Hall.

10$ for adults it says on their website:
Patriot Place - Everyone wins! - There is something for everyone at Patriot Place

$10 is not bad. I was thinking around $25 with all the interactive stuff they have showed.

I'm planning on going to the ceremony. Surprised they are charging for entry to the hall. Oh well. Just means fewer trips there. Should be free.

Just be prepared for long waits at the restuarants at Patriots Place. The wife and I went over there last saturday around 5:30ish, Red Robin had a 1 hour wait for a table for 2 (1 hour 45 minutes for a party of 4) and CBS Scene was 2 1/2 hours! My wife had checked out CBS Scene on-line (you can make reservations) so we already knew we weren't going to be eating there. There is a cool little CBS store underneath the resaurant, got a Sgt. Shiltz tee shirt

So I would expect huge crowds when they open the Hall. And the following saturday night the Revolution have a home game, so expect long lines then too.

We figure we'll go back on a week night since we only live 15 minutes away....

Pretty much my plan too.. I live in Foxboro. So I am going to check all of the new stuff out on week nights. I have been to the Red Robin already, I thought it was good but my Parents weren't happy when their well done burgers were still pink. I have been to most of the open stores that interested me and they are all nice. The cinema is awsome.

I may go down to catch the ceremony but I am not going to try and get into the hall until I can spend a few hours with a smaller crowd so I can really check everything out and not be bothered by hords of people. Does anyone know where the ceremony will be? Is it in the hall? I hope not as I hope their are big crowds for it.

Please tell me that's not the official Super Bowl 43 logo in your avatar-- ugly!

I haven't been to Gillette since the mall was built and still can't really picture that. It seems like it would be such a clash with the tailgating atmosphere on gameday. Is the mall open on gameday? I can just see drunken mobs in Bruschi jerseys with some time to kill before kickoff descending on the Bed Bath and Beyond and raising hell.
