Default Will KC be able to run on Pats?

It seems if PATS play like the preseason, KC will gash them for big gains
in the run game. Most think the preseason was not a good measure of
PATs being able to stop the run.

Any one think PATs will keep KC to less than 100 yds?
Less than 150?

Whats your gut say?

I think it all depends on what our offense does. If We can jump out to an early lead and take the ball out of LJ's hands, we should be fine. If not, he can and likely will carve us up.

To ALL:

CAN KC RUN ON OUR FRONT 7 IN A BASE 3-4? HUuuuge Question... Although I liked the whole Idea of it at the Time, When Lynch came in as a Hybrid-Safety Linebacker (IMO, BB's new scheme to add more speed in the progressively quicker, pass-happy culture that He believes the NFL is going towards)-for a long series in pre-season, the results were debatable in the running game (think I read by Mike Reiss that when Tampa saw this, they called and churned out 8 Run Plays in a row... I'd rather see what our Base 3-4 can do with our new-found (and "newbie) depth at LB and our front 3 finally ALL together, happy and healthy again (i.e. read: Richard Seymour)... Therefore, IMHO, IF Kansas City CAN Run on Us, We Might have some problems...

The Pats have always been able to take away a teams strengths over the years. Down to 3 receivers, the Chiefs have only 1 strength and that's their run game (not that the passing game could be considered a strength even at full capacity). I don't think we'll see 100 yards from the Chiefs today.

Even though we saw him on quite a few preseason plays Mayo is the big question mark, looked ok in preseason during vanilla time.. how well will he do today?? No reason to believe he will not be a force, but has to show it.

With KC only bringing 3 WR's to the table I'm sure they'll try and exploit that preseason weakness we showed, but I'm not sold on the accuracy of our preseason performance to begin with. I think KC will definitely try but they won't succeed everytime. This will be a good tune up opponent for stopping the run, so 75 yds with a disclaimer that I'm not so good at predicting stats
