hi, I asked in the other post as well but can you just sum up what this is

Yes.

Each week a thread is started where members guess the PATs score and their opponents score for that week.

The absolute difference between the each actual score and the each guessed score is determined and added together for the players score
for that week.
Example:
Guess: PATS 35 KC 25
Actual: PATS 40 KC 15
The Players score is
abs(35-40) + abs(25-15) = 15

the players score for that week is 15

All week scores are summed and the member with the lowest total score is
the winner.
