I always loved watching all those big-time fights when that guy would say that "lets get ready to rumble" thing. I wish he could be at the Pats opening game and stand in the middle of the field and say that to kick off the 2008 season!

Time for all the little gossip threads to die. The time has arrived. Nothing matters but the play on the field! This off-season was the worst in my lifetime as a Pats fan.

Despite the awesome 18-1 2007 season, I feel like 2008 needs to be the season of REDEMPTION. Strange as that may sound, it's how I feel. The emptiness that resulted from the SB (I can't even say it) is still lingering in my Patriotic heart.

I only hope the lackluster pre-season was a sign the Patriots are saving it for the legit games and will peak late as in times past. I hope our defense is fully re-loaded so that we can indeed RUMBLE and play smack-mouth football.

Like I said, I'm ultra tired of rumors and guess our record threads. It's time to shut up and play football...and I'm psyched.

Excellent points. I think they'll go 13-3 and I'm hearing Brady won't wear white when he gets married

All I want to see is Brady in pink!...just kiddn'!

Seriously, I want to see a different brand of football this year. More running and much improved defense. but in the end, I'll be happy as long as win our division and secure home field advantage. If we go 11-5 and don't get home field advantage but start to peak in the last month, I'll still be happy as a pig in you know what!
