That pick turned into Mayo and DRC goes to the Cards, Mayo was the greater need in BB's eyes, but BB loved DRC, they flew down the Thursday before the draft and worked DRC out privately at Tenn St, they were prepared to take him and at the last moment turned to Mayo. He was #2 on their draft board after Mayo.
