A few mild surprises but I don't expect a jaw dropper tomorrow

Here is my final 53 players I expect on Saturday to be on the roster for the regular season..

3 QBs - Brady, Gutierrez,O'Connell

5 RBs - Maroney,Faulk,Morris,Jordan,Evans

6 WRs - Moss,Welker,Gaffney,Washington,Jackson,Aiken

3 TEs - Thomas,Watson,DeVree (DeVree in a surprise as a 3rd TE)

10 OL - Light,Mankins,Koppen,Yates,Kaczur,Hochstein,Flynn, Ross (surprise keeper),Connolly (another surprise keeper),Britt

Defense

6 DL- Seymour,Wilfork,Warren,Green,Wright,LeKevin Smith

9 LBs - Bruschi,Vrabel,Thomas,Mayo,Woods,Crable,Guyton,Hob son,Izzo

7 DBs - Harrison,Sanders,Lynch,Meriweather,Hobbs,Bryant,Wh eatley

4 STs aces - Gostkowski
Hanson
Paxton
Slater

I'd like to see Redd make this team, at least on the Practise squad.
Who would you have on the PS?

I like Redd and Rudd and if Ventrone can be there he is a nice choice - Too tough too call actually,I leave that for the experts

I can't see the Pats going with only 3 corners.

Without looking at the rest of it, why in heck would they cut Wilhite? He's a 4th round pick and last night he looked outstanding. If he can look that good after having missed most of camp ... and at one of the league's most valuable positions. I'd be shocked if they cut him.

My thoughts exactly, if you have 5 RB, you either have to take 5 WR or 3 TE, you cant just dump a corner.

I believe that the Pats will keep Wilhite and that they will NOT keep 10 O-line.

Isn't Ross still on the PUP? I think they will keep him there.

I think they keep Welbourn over Connolly. No need to have 4 C/G behind Koppen.

As for TE, I think they keep Spach over DeVree.

No way only three corners are kept... injury history plus inconsistent play and the fact that Hobbs is the only returning corner signals the need for more depth. The only way this is the initial cut is if a plan to sign Law or another cut corner is in the works or thinking that a hybrid corner scenario like Meriweather is doable.
