I was really rooting for Rosie as well. If he signs with anybody, I hope it's with either us or the G-Men. I don't want to see him in aqua, puke green, or blue.

Odd that Houston did not PUP him at the start of camp. They'd have to think his foot wasn't fully healed upon the physical. Oh well. Hopefully he catches on. (Maybe even with NE mid-season?)

One thing that you really jumped out at me at the handful of live games I attended the last few years is the passion and fire Rosie displayed pre-snap. He was always trying to get the crowd amped. We didn't (don't?) have many guys like that on D.

You can just as easily say the Texans wouldn't have thrown away a one million dollar signing bonus if Colvin could play DE.

Well, the Texans are no longer the sad sack team of years past. That defense is especially good.

Still it would seem this is not the same Rosie Colvin we all know and love.

As many have posted, I imagine the reason is he isn't fully healed. If he doesn't play here this season (I can still dream he comes back, right?

), I hope he comes back healthy and has a few more solid seasons somewhere else.
