Predictions for this week's (maybe tomorrow's) news
Just a guess, but this will clearly be the biggest 10 or so days of NFL news since free agency (Favre was a lot of news, but one event).
My guesses on this week's (pre 53 man cutdown) news:
Hobson out in first cut.
Wilhite (most likely) to IR (with stubbed toe), Ty Law signs.
Brady massively injured, may require surgery and full body cast (ESPN special report).
Jason Taylor recovery time extended to week #2 or #3 (Tuna laughs).
Peyton Manning enters the season on PUP (he started camp on PUP, right?) if not, I have a feeling he might be looking at a short season.
Brett Favre actually gets YOUNGER and FASTER and TOUGHER (NFLN Headline).
While I think Seau will appear eventually, I sort of expect Guyton or Redd to make the roster as a two week experiment. Everyone in both camps is ready, willing and able to pull the Junior trigger, but I don't think it will be this week's news.
Any other predictions?

The Pats like to tantalize their fans so their cuts will be announced

You're so wrong this would definately be reported by OLN.
Suprise cut Bubba Ventrone, cut early and often.
There is no such channel as OLN anymore. Its called VERSUS.
Also, you sound like those two broken records named National Sports Advisor and DWToys. NSA has a hatred for Maroney and DWToys still can't get it through his head that Sanders isn't going anywhere.

What does this say about Hobson, who was the starting ILB for the Jets last year? Is it a talent issue, and this team is too deep? Or does he just not grasp the D??
