It isn't as simple as the argument of "yeah, but he can't beat someone on the outside." What Welker does is something that no other receiver has been able to do on a consistent basis.
If he wasn't in their category than how did he lead the entire NFL in YACs again this season? He may not have the same skillset as Fitzgerald and C.Johnson, but they don't have the same skillset as Wes Welker either.

Please stop looking at stats and take off the Patriot homer glasses. Have you even spent time watching Fitzgerald or Johnson play? Their talent is in a league of their own, Welker does not compare as a receiver.
I'm truly shocked that someone is actually trying to compare Welker to Megatron / Fitz based off number of receptions.
