i prefer guys like tom, tedy, faulk. they do their jobs, and don't ***** to the media about money. they "get paid" without all the publicity.
We can all choose who we "like" or cheer for but it is not 1955 anymore. Sports is a business. Samuel was an excellent player and now he is very well compensated. Here is a quote from Rodney Harrison on Boston.com.
http://www.boston.com/sports/footbal..._talks_as.html

It was then pointed out to Harrison that Samuel had been limited due to a hamstring injury, and Harrison was asked if Samuel might be following in the line of former Patriots players who signed elsewhere only to experience health problems and not produce as projected (such as Damien Woody, Deion Branch and David Givens).

Harrison bristled at the question.

“He’s a tremendous player and he’s going to be a tremendous player no matter what uniform he puts on,” he said. “It’s a story for [the media] to sit back and hate on him and wish that he does terrible because he didn’t sign here. But all in all, he’s a friend of ours, and we wish him the best. Business is business. Sometimes you can sign a guy and sometimes you can't. You don't worry about things you can't control.”

From what we've seen so far, any kind of air assault over anyone's head would be nice. Doesn't matter who the defender is.

who's bs'ing? read the post. I believe he was a good player. 60mil? no, but I appreciate what he did for the team anyways. all im saying is that I didnt like his attitude. How's that being hypocritical?

Personally I prefer players who are honest about wanting the money - it's better than having some guy tell everyone how much he loves it at a team, until someone makes a better offer, then manufactures a row.

I'd be worried if BB did scheme against the Eagles because that might suggest that we were taking the preseason seriously and just suck. I have no love of Cassel but he (or whoever the no 2 is going to be) will need to develop the ball control offence just in case Brady needs a backup this year.

Sharpe talked about Welker decleating Gino in the TB game........I'd love to see a sequel.

What's the difference between Brady and Manning?

Brady has a 14-3 career playoff record. Manning goes 14-3 every year.

I would give Asante some respectful applause, personally. But will the Eagles play him much? I thought his hammy was still strained?
I was there too-I didn't boo him (well, maybe a little), but I cheered when he missed that fg-for sure. That was a beautiful thing

But most of my reaction to Adam was because he went to the freakin Colts, of ALL teams-even though it made sense for him). THAT pi*ed me off no end. He did end up with the last laugh, but oddly enough I had no problem with him getting another ring. Just not with them. If it wasn't with the Colts I'd be glad for him considering all he did for this team and the thrills he gave us fans.

Respectful applause is exactly what I'd give A$ante. He went to the NFC,he had some game-saving (and breaking) moments here so he deserves respect for what he's done in the past. If I booed him at all, it would be because of the SB, not because he left and went to the Eagles.

The return of Asante will never even come close to the night AV returned branded forever with a * horseshoe.
