Default A high five of hope for Pats

Karen Guregian offers five reason why Pats fans should be optimistic:

A high five of hope for Pats | Boston Herald

Without going into details (give her a click on the link for that), she lists:

  1. The Magnificent Seven (defensive front 7)
  2. The Gronk Show (just needs to stay healthy)
  3. The Mystery Guests (Jeff Demps, Jake Ballard, Armond Armstead)
  4. The Committee (the running backs)
  5. Brady and Belichick

Conspicuously absent: a reference to the secondary.

Which would be under another different thread topic: Issues that really need addressing in 2013, led by WRs, Who?

Agree with the optimism list. Makes the January Debacle slightly more palatable.

Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck." RAH

I don't think that #5 holds as much water as it used to hold.

You know it's hard to win a super bowl right? The fact that this team is right there every year is down right amazing.

All is fine and well but now it's the depressingly long wait for a new season.
