Bitter sweet to be sure, but he does have a WR or two. Who knows? With that defense he won't have to put up big numbers to keep them competitive. Maybe Fitzgerald will finally get some QB love.

I hope he does great, though he's playing one of the best defenses in the NFL. If he plays well, it will give credence to the idea that the Pats are good at developing QBs, and might even possibly have an indirect effect on Ryan Mallett's value.

A beat writer in Arizona tweeted that Hoyer will be their 7th QB to play in 3 years.

I hope he can make the most of this chance.
